It was a very nice night for Michigan State basketball on Thursday as the Spartans landed a major commitment from a big-time prospect from the DMV.
On Thursday night, 4-star wing Jordan Scott announced his commitment to MSU. Notably, the Spartans beat out Big Ten rival Maryland for Scott’s commitment, along with Kansas State and Virginia.

Scott is the No. 52 ranked player in the country by 247sports and their No. 11 ranked small forward. Scott is one of two players Tom Izzo and Michigan State have been aggressively pursuing in the DMV along with 4-star power forward Cam Ward.
