Big Ten dominates top of updated US LBM Coaches Poll

The Big Ten found several of its teams near the top of the latest US LBM Coaches Poll released on Sunday.

There was plenty of shakeup at the top of the poll after a wild weekend that included numerous upsets. Three teams from the Big Ten landed in the top five of the updated poll: Ohio State (No. 2), Oregon (No. 3) and Penn State (No. 5). Outside of those three teams, there were three other teams from the Big Ten included in this week’s poll: Indiana (No. 20), Michigan (No. 21) and Illinois (No. 23).

To no surprise, Michigan State did not receive any votes in this week’s updated poll. The Spartans have lost three straight games and are now 3-3 overall on the year.

Michigan State will be off next week on a bye. The Spartans return to action the following week against Iowa on October 19.

Here is the full US LBM Coaches Poll for Week 7.
