LSU jumps into the top 10 in US LBM Coaches Poll after upset-filled Week 6

LSU was the beneficiary of the chaos around college football during its bye week.

After one of the wildest weekends of college football in recent memory, there was sure to be some shakeup in the polls on Sunday.

LSU was idle as it prepared for a crucial home matchup against Ole Miss, so coach Brian Kelly’s team sat back and watched as four teams ranked in the top 10 went down, headlined by Alabama’s stunning loss on the road against Vanderbilt.

The Tigers are also the beneficiary of that chaos, as they’re moving up two spots in the US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 6 and now rank inside the top 10, coming in at the final spot. Six SEC teams in total still occupy the top 10 as the Crimson Tide and Tennessee, which lost on the road against unranked Arkansas, didn’t fall far.

Here’s the full US LBM Coaches Poll after Week 6.
