The first quarter at SoFi on Sunday wasn’t not going well for the Kansas City Chiefs.
They had turned the ball over on a Carson Steele fumble and Patrick Mahomes interception.
The pick was incredibly costly as Mahomes hit wide receiver Rashee Rice as they tried to make the tackle.
Rice was taken off the field and then to the locker room on a cart. He was ruled out with the knee injury in the game that matched the reigning college national championship coach (Jim Harbaugh) against the reigning Super Bowl champion coach (Andy Reid) for the first time.
