The New York Giants were defeated by the Dallas Cowboys, 20-15, on Thursday Night Football at MetLife Stadium and rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers is our Player of the Game. Again.
The game was tight all night but the Giants could not finish drives resulting in no touchdowns and field goals would not cut it against the defending NFC East champions.
With this loss, the Giants fall to 1-3 and last in the division. They will have 10 days to rest up before they travel across the country to play the undefeated Seattle Seahawks.
For the fourth straight week, Nabers is the pick for Player of the Game. The sixth overall pick did not have a perfect game as he finished the day with one drop. However, outside of those plays, Nabers was unguardable as he showcased his elite route-running skills.
The LSU product closed out Week 4 with 12 catches for 115 yards as he tied the record for the most catches by a rookie in their first four career games.
Nabers now has 39 catches for 386 yards through four outings and has made a case for himself as a top 10 receiver in the NFL. His connection with Daniel Jones continues to grow and together they should keep the Giants competitive.
