Now sitting 3-1 after a miraculous Saturday evening win over Baylor, the Colorado Buffaloes received five votes in the post-Week 4 US LBM Coaches Poll.
Colorado cracked the “others receiving votes” category for the first time since picking up two votes in the preseason poll, which dropped on Aug. 5.
If the Buffs can deliver a well-rounded victory against the 3-0 UCF Knights this upcoming week, we could see Colorado land within or near the top 25. UCF wasn’t in action during Week 4 but still received 35 votes, the sixth-most among Big 12 teams.
Looking closer at the seemingly wide-open Big 12 Conference, No. 10 Utah, No. 19 Iowa State, No. 20 Oklahoma State, No. 22 BYU and No. 25 Kansas State all cracked the top 25. Additionally, Arizona grabbed 16 votes.
