LSU climbs multiple spots into top 15 of US LBM Coaches Poll after UCLA win

The Tigers are on the rise in this week’s coaches poll after their 34-17 win over UCLA on Saturday.

The Tigers battled yet another fairly slow start on Saturday against UCLA in Week 4, but unlike their thrilling Week 3 win over South Carolina, they had a much stronger second half.

The game was tied at 17 entering the locker room but LSU delivered a second-half shutout as it pulled away to win 34-17. While it wasn’t necessarily the most impressive victory, it was enough to secure a three-spot rise in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll.

The Tigers entered the week ranked No. 16, and now, they’ve moved up into the top 15 and rank No. 13. They’re one of nine ranked teams in the SEC.

Here’s the full coaches poll following Week 4.
