The Jaguars and Bills began practicing for their Monday Night Football matchup on Thursday, with each team down at least one starter to kick off their on-field preparation for Week 3.

Analysis: On Thursday, Jaguars head coach Doug Pederson called starting tight end Evan Engram “a little bit further away” from a return to action after injuring his hamstring in the hours before Jacksonville’s Week 2 matchup with Cleveland.

Pederson shared his hopes that Savage, who injured his quadriceps in practice last Thursday and missed Week 2, will be available against Buffalo, noting he is slated to work his way back into participation this week.
