Lions injury report: WR Amon-Ra St. Brown has quad injury

A look at the Lions’ first injury report of Week 3 as they prepare to play the Cardinals.

The Detroit Lions’ Wednesday injury report leading to Sunday’s Week 3 game against the Cardinals includes five starters with three on defense, including linebacker Alex Anzalone, who is concussion protocol, and wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, who has a quad injury.

Anzalone suffered the injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday and ended up playing 40 snaps (83 percent) after participating in all 78 in the overtime game the week before against the Los Angeles Rams. He had 13 tackles (10 solo) in that game, but only four (three solo) against the Bucs. He also wears the green dot on his helmet and relays the defensive calls.

Glasgow, the starter at right guard, played all 85 snaps against Tampa Bay. Arnold played 44 snaps (92 percent). Melifonwu and Rakestraw were inactive with the latter suffering a hamstring injury in pregame warmups.

WR Isaiah Williams (abdomen)

Joseph is a starter and played all 48 snaps against Tampa Bay, while Williams was inactive.

DE Marcus Davenport (groin)

WR Amon-Ra St. Brown (quadriceps)

St. Brown was treated twice on the field by trainers against the Bucs, but still had 11 catches for 119 yards on 18 targets. Davenport was inactive.
