Cardinals bring in 2 RBs, 2 TEs for tryouts Tuesday

The Cardinals brought in a former Lions running back for a tryout and others on Tuesday.

There were 44 tryouts and three visits reported by NFL teams Tuesday, the day with normally the most tryouts, and the Arizona Cardinals had four with two running backs (Zonovan Knight and Isaiah Spiller) and two tight ends (Teagan Quitoriano and Joel Wilson).

Here are the backgrounds on all four players.

In 2022, he was signed to the practice squad after being waived in the cutdown to 53 players and was signed to the active roster on Oct. 25. He played seven games with four starts and rushed for 300 yards on 85 carries with one touchdown.

In 2023, he was cut by the Jets in the reduction to 53, was signed by the Detroit Lions for their practice squad and then signed to the roster on Sept. 20. After playing two games, he was placed on injured reserve with a torn labrum on Oct. 14, where he remained for the rest of the season. This year, he was waived on Aug. 27.
