2025 defensive tackle decommits from the Oklahoma Sooners

2025 defensive tackle Floyd Boucard decommits from the Oklahoma Sooners.

The Oklahoma Sooners [autotag]2025 recruiting class[/autotag] took a hit on Monday evening. Defensive tackle [autotag]Floyd Boucard[/autotag] announced via social media he is decommitting from the Sooners.

“I would like to thank the University of Oklahoma for welcoming me with open arms,” Boucard said. “It’s after much consideration, thought, and conversations with my family that I’ve made the decision to recommit and I am now reopening my recruitment to all schools.”

Boucard was reportedly supposed to visit the hometown Miami Hurricanes over the weekend, creating a shroud of mystery in the direction of his recruitment. He’s considered a four-star prospect by Rivals and a three-star recruit by 247Sports and On3.

In addition to his offer from Oklahoma, Boucard also holds offers from Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, South Carolina, USC, Miami, Florida, and Florida State.

The Sooners still have defensive linemen C.J. Nickson, Trent Wilson, Ka’Mori Moore, and Alexander Shieldknight pledged to their 2025 recruiting class.
