Florida remains voteless in US LBM Coaches Poll Week 3 update

Florida received no votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll for obvious reasons after Week 3.

College football’s Week 3 action has come and gone and unfortunately for Florida Gators fans, the results in the Swamp on Saturday were far from sufficient for mentioning in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll.

The Orange and Blue were handed its second embarrassing loss at home this season by the Texas A&M Aggies, 33-20, in what might be [autotag]Billy Napier[/autotag]’s final game as the program’s head coach.

TAMU, however, got a boost from its road win inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium coming in at No. 24 after just missing out last week with the 26th-most points in the nation, according to the poll. That makes the Aggies one of nine Southeastern Conference schools among the top 25 in the latest update.

Other SEC schools mentioned are the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs, along with the second-ranked Texas Longhorns, fourth-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide and fifth-ranked Ole Miss Rebels. That top-five quartet is followed by the Tennessee Volunteers (No. 6), Missouri Tigers (No. 8), Oklahoma Sooners (No. 13) and LSU Tigers (No. 16).

No other SEC school earned any votes.
