WATCH: Justin Jefferson caps off 99-yard drive with impressive touchdown

The Vikings’ All-Pro receiver had a massive drive and caught a touchdown in the second quarter.

The Vikings had to start on their own one-yard line to start their third possession of the game. But it wasn’t an issue for Sam Darnold and Minnesota. Using Ty Chandler, the Vikings were able to get out from under the Giants and then Darnold did the rest. A few passes to both Jordan Addison and Justin Jefferson got the Vikings down the field.

Darnold first connected with Jefferson with a 44-yard dime. Darnold’s placement was incredible, allowing Jefferson to easily make the catch.

Then a few passes later, the Vikings had it fourth and goal on the Giants’ three-yard line. Minnesota went for it on fourth down and the Giants single-covered the All-Pro receiver. Bad things happen when you do that. Jefferson easily collected a touchdown pass from Darnold to go up 14-3 in the game.

Jefferson has three catches for 50 receiving yards and one touchdown as the Vikings approach halftime with a firm lead.
