Nathan Peterman was signed again (really)

He has risen:

Nathan Peterman is still in the NFL, it’s true.

The Atlanta Falcons have signed the former Buffalo Bills quarterback to their practice squad this week. Peterman was previously with the Las Vegas Raiders and he completed 12 of 19 passes for 108 yards with one touchdown in preseason play before being released.

Peterman, 30, entered the NFL as a fifth-round pick of the Bills in 2017, and he spent his first two seasons in Buffalo.

In that time, he went down in Bills lore due to his issues with interceptions in limited time played when he briefly replaced Tyrod Taylor as Buffalo’s starting QB. Peterman has appeared in 15 career games and his numbers do the talking, he’s thrown for 712 yards with four touchdowns and 13 interceptions.

The Falcons signed Peterman after Atlanta recently traded veteran Taylor Heinicke to the Los Angeles Chargers for a conditional seventh-round draft pick that could become a sixth-rounder based on playing time.
