Kyle Austin of MLive has Michigan State as one of the worst teams in his updated Big Ten power rankings.
MLive dropped updated Big Ten power rankings on Tuesday morning, and the Spartans are near the bottom. After a lackluster performance in week one, Michigan State came in at No. 16 in the power rankings.
Michigan State was only ahead of Minnesota (No. 18) and Indiana (No. 17).
