Kansas City Chiefs TE Travis Kelce has been in the NFL for 11 seasons and has all but secured his spot in the Hall of Fame. He is a 9-time Pro Bowler, 4-time All-Pro, was selected to the 2010s All-Decade Team, and is a 3-time Super Bowl champion. Below, we look at Travis Kelce’s 2024 fantasy football average draft position (ADP) and where you should draft him.
Entering 2024, his fantasy value is intriguing. He is entering what many believe is the closing years of his career and may start to slow down; however, his connection with QB Patrick Mahomes should never be underestimated.

Travis Kelce’s ADP: 28.86
(ADP data courtesy of MyFantasyLeague.com; last updated at time of this publishing – ADPs continually change as more drafts occur)
Kelce has an ADP of 28.86 in redraft leagues, which puts him in the range of the 3rd to 4th round, depending on the size of the league.
Among tight ends, Kelce’s ADP puts him 1st at the position, in front of the likes of Sam LaPorta (Detroit Tigers, 34.03), Trey McBride (Arizona Cardinals, 50.96), Mark Andrews (Baltimore Ravens, 51.33), Dalton Kincaid (Buffalo Bills, 61.55).

Where should you draft Kelce?
Kelce’s fantasy value should remain similar to what it was last year when he averaged 13.84 points per game. With his age, he should be expected to miss a few games; however, he will still be a top target of Mahomes.
Kelce will still mostly be an underneath receiver with not many deep routes, but he’s excellent after the catch, and the mere threat of Mahomes creating plays with his feet or to WRs such as Rashee Rice and Marquise Brown will continue to open things up for Kelce.
Draft Kelce around the same time as LaPorta, but don’t let him fall out of the 4th round in 10-team leagues. When healthy, he’s good for 90 catches and 900-plus yards. The dropoff in tight ends will be noticed if you miss your opportunity with Kelce.
