Tennessee 2025 commit suffers season-ending injury

2025 Tennessee football commit suffers season-ending injury.

2025 Tennessee commit Jayden Loftin tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of his senior high school season.

“To Vol Nation, I’ll be back in top form ready to put on a show under the lights in Neyland,” Loftin said on Instagram.

Loftin committed to the Vols on June 12. The four-star edge defender ranks as the No. 234 player nationally. He also ranks as the No. 19 edge defender and No. 5 player in New Jersey.

The 6-foot-4, 250-pound edge defender is from Somerville High School in Somerville New Jersey.

Loftin is one of Tennessee’s 24 commitments in its 2025 recruiting class.

Tennessee offered a scholarship to Loftin on Dec. 8, 2023.
