After Hill and Lamb, who is holding out from training camp while trying to negotiate a new contract, the next 5 wide receivers by ADP are Detroit’s Amon-Ra St. Brown (7.20), Cincinnati’s Ja’Marr Chase (7.75), Minnesota’s Justin Jefferson (7.79) and Philadelphia’s A.J. Brown (11.90).

Where should you draft Hill?

Hill is the gold standard among fantasy receivers. In previous seasons, taking a receiver No. 1 overall would be unheard of, but times have changed. “The Cheetah” is a speed burner who has racked up 111 or more receptions in 3 consecutive seasons, and he has 1,710 receiving yards or more in each of his past 2 campaigns in South Florida.

While Hill has some big-time numbers, there are still some who are not 100 percent sold on QB Tua Tagovailoa. However, love him or not, Tagovailoa has been finding Hill on a regular basis. There are some questions about Tagovailoa’s health, and should he go down, then Hill’s fantasy value would slip. However, Tagovailoa was limited to 13 games in 2022, and Hill still excelled.

If you’re drafting in the top 5 positions, Hill needs to be on your roster, especially for those in PPR formats. It’s a no-brainer.
