The 2024-25 English Premier League season begins on Friday when Manchester United plays host to Fulham.
Man U is looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2023-24 campaign that saw the team end eighth in the EPL table, the team’s lowest finish since it placed 13th back in the 1989-90 Football League First Division campaign. That’s right–the team is coming off its worst season since before the debut of the Premier League.
As for Fulham, the team placed 13th last season, scoring 47 points over the course of the season. The team has bounced between the Premier League and the Championship in recent years, but this season marks the third consecutive top flight campaign for the team. It hasn’t had a run that long since it was relegated after the 2013-14 season, which ended a 13-year run in the Premier League.
