Josh Allen, Bills downplay ‘no game planning’ loss vs. Bears

Josh Allen and the #Bills downplay ‘no game planning’ loss vs. the #Bears:

Worried about the Buffalo Bills’ loss to the Chicago Bears in the preseason?

Well, you might not have to. Just ask the team, because they were not concerned much, at all, following the 33-6 final.

Throughout the Bills locker room at Highmark Stadium on Saturday afternoon, despite the loss, there was calm to be found. It came from both sides of the ball and for the exact same reasoning.

The Bills did not treat the Bears like a regular season opponent. The preparation for the matchup did not exist as it would during the season.

“There’s… no game planning whatsoever,” cornerback Taron Johnson said via video conference. “We go out there pretty blind, honestly.”

Meanwhile, the franchise quarterback echoed the same sentiment.

“Felt good with what we did early on,” Allen said. “every game is something we want to win. A lot to learn from. Again, it’s preseason, we’re not game planning for games.”

So if you trust your players, Buffalo, there is not much to be worried about… for now.
