3 star WRs say Broncos’ Pat Surtain is hardest CB to play against

Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, and Amon-Ra St. Brown all listed Pat Surtain as the hardest cornerback to play against the NFL.

Pat Surtain has gotten his fair share of accolades and praise this offseason, but respect from his fellow NFL peers may top it all.

Top NFL wide receivers Davante Adams, Justin Jefferson, and Amon-Ra St. Brown all believe that the Broncos cornerback is the hardest defender to play against in today’s game.

The three WRs who appeared on the hit Netflix show “Receiver” gave Surtain his flowers as they recapped the show. Adams praised Surtain for his size and measurables, which made it hard for him to break away as a receiver.

Surtain’s 2023 season garnered him his second consecutive Pro Bowl nod. He finished the year with 69 tackles, one interception and 12 pass deflections.

While the stats Surtain displayed are not gaudy, his play shutting down receivers has made him a critical darling. With the 2024 NFL season, we can only hope that Surtain continues his high level of play as he tries to get Denver to reach new heights.
