Former LSU pitcher [autotag]Jaden Hill[/autotag] has received a promotion from the Hartford Yard Goats to the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes.

Hill was a member of the LSU baseball team from 2018-2021. He finished his career with a 3-3 record and a 4.21 ERA. He struck out 53 hitters and only walked 20 for his career. He was drafted by the [autotag]Colorado Rockies[/autotag] in the 2nd round of the 2021 MLB draft.

He started his professional career in rookie ball for the Rockies in 2022. He advanced to the Rockies High-A affiliate team by the end of the year. He played in 10 games and finished with a 0-0 record and 3.06 ERA. Last season, he started the year in High-A ball and his season did not go as planned. He started 16 games and finished the year with an 0-9 record and a 9.48 ERA.

Despite his struggles, Hill started 2024 in Hartford with the Double-A affiliate. He has appeared in 34 games this season, all coming from the bullpen. He has a 5-2 record and a 3.52 ERA. Those numbers have earned him a call-up to the Albuquerque Isotopes as he is now one step away from the MLB.
