The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts will kickoff their respective regular seasons with a Week 1 matchup on Sept. 8, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Lucas Oil Stadium.
This opener features two teams doing battle during football’s opening weekend with divisional twist. Both sides will look to earn their first AFC South win of the year in this one.
Even though the season does not begin until September, only limited tickets remain for this first game in Indianapolis.

While important with the divisional ties, this matchup has a youth movement attached as well.
In terms of the Texans, quarterback CJ Stroud has one of the most promising rookie seasons we’ve seen in years last season. Houston added Stefon Diggs to the mix this offseason, too.
On the flip side, the Colts will hope their young QB, Anthony Richardson, can show similar progress.
