NFL Network continued to roll out this year’s “NFL Top 100” list, ranking the top 100 players in the league heading into the 2024 season, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have another one to their credit.
All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield Jr. takes the No. 46 spot on this year’s list, joining teammates in linebacker Lavonte David (No. 99) and offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs (No. 85) among those who have been announced up to this point.
The No. 45 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft, Winfield made an immediate impact for a Bucs team that won the Super Bowl during his rookie season.
He has since established himself as the best safety in the entire NFL, and was rewarded with a huge four-year contract extension this offseason, making Winfield the highest-paid defensive back in league history.
