One of the top prospects in the 2026 class from the state of Michigan will reportedly visit Michigan State this weekend for the annual Spartan Dawg Con event.

Four-star offensive tackle Khalief Canty of Detroit will reportedly visit Michigan State this weekend. Jason Killop of On3 reported the notable upcoming visit on Friday.

Canty ranks as the No. 13 interior offensive lineman in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 3 player from Michigan and No. 217 overall prospect in the class.

According to 247Sports, Canty holds offers from 15 schools, including Michigan State. Other notable programs to offer Canty includes Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, NC State, Purdue, Tennessee and West Virginia.
