2025 four-Star Kiyan Anthony lists Auburn in top six

With shot creation skills and a mid-range stroke very reminiscent of his father Carmello, Anthony has all the tools to become a great college basketball player.

2025 four-star shooting guard [autotag]Kiyan Anthony[/autotag] narrowed his list of destinations down to six on Friday. Auburn, along with USC, Rutgers, Ohio State, Florida State, and Syracuse made the final cut.

The son of former NBA and USA Basketball great Carmelo Anthony, it would be a slight shock to see the 6-5, 185-pound guard choose anywhere other than Syracuse, but for now, Auburn is in the race.

It is very telling that the Tigers are the only SEC team to make Anthony’s top six. In fact, Auburn and Florida State are the only two schools south of the Mason Dixon Line to break Antony’s final ranking.

The talented guard is a consensus top 50 overall prospect in the 2025 recruiting class. He would be an instant difference maker for an Auburn backcourt currently held together by inexperienced, albeit talented, transfer portal players and freshmen. The No. 1 basketball prospect from New York is due to visit the Plains at some point this fall.

With shot creation skills and a mid-range stroke very reminiscent of his fathers, Anthony has all the tools to become a great college basketball player. We’ll see if [autotag]Bruce Pearl[/autotag] and his staff can convince him to abandon the state of New York when he visits later this year.
