Brazilian forward Taissa Queiroz draws offer from Colorado women’s basketball

Colorado is showing interest in highly ranked forward Taissa Queiroz

As her college recruitment continues to heat up, class of 2025 forward Taissa Queiroz announced an offer from the Colorado Buffaloes women’s basketball program on Tuesday evening.

The 6-foot-1 rising senior (per ESPN) attends Cardinal Newman High School in California and also plays on the Brazilian U19 Women’s Basketball Team. ESPN’s HoopGurlz recruiting rankings tab the four-star Queiroz as the No. 72 class of 2025 prospect.

According to 247Sports, Queiroz has visited with the Kansas State Wildcats, Utah Utes and Gonzaga Bulldogs. She also plans on checking out the Washington Huskies, Georgia Bulldogs and other programs soon.

Queiroz averaged a double-double (15.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game) as a junior last season, later earning sixth-team All-California honors from MaxPreps.
