The Pittsburgh Steelers took one back from the Buffalo Bills.
Linebacker Tyler Matakevich has inked a one-year deal in Pittsburgh. According to reports, it’s a league-minimum deal for the 31-year-old:

In 2020, Matakevich originally left Pittsburgh to sign in Buffalo as a free agent. He was originally a seventh-round selection of the Steelers at the 2016 NFL draft.
Like during his original stint in Pittsburgh, it’s expected that Matakevich will against contribute there as a special teams ace. During his spell with the Bills, Matakevich held the same role and only played minimal snaps on defense. Matakevich became a free agent following the end of the 2023 season.
Bills Wire will continue to provide all team and roster updates throughout training camp.
