Giants’ Tommy DeVito says Jets QB Aaron Rodgers is his ‘GOAT’

New York Giants QB Tommy DeVito says that New York Jets QB and future Hall of Famers, Aaron Rodgers, is his “GOAT.”

New York Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito attended the 2024 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles last Thursday following a breakout campaign in East Rutherford.

While on the red carpet, DeVito stopped to speak with ClutchPoints and delivered Giants fans a short message.

“It’s gonna be a fun one. Hold on, there’s going to be ups and downs like anything else,” DeVito said. “But stay through it, we will come out alright.”

DeVito was also asked if there are any quarterbacks he tries to emulate on the field and without hesitation, Tommy Cutlets named New York Jets veteran Aaron Rodgers.

“Aaron Rodgers is my GOAT,” DeVito said, also name-dropping Deshaun Watson. “Aaron Rodgers is special, he’s a magician.”

The Giants played the Jets last preseason and DeVito had the opportunity to share the same field, which was a moment he appreciated.

“Mine was Rodgers,” DeVito said when asked which QB he wanted to play against. “I got it in the preseason last year; I played against him.”

Although the Giants and Jets won’t meet during the 2024 regular season, they will face off again in the preseason’s final week. Rodgers is unlikely to play in that game, but DeVito will undoubtedly receive a heavy share of the snaps.
