Two former Vols competed in the 2024 NBA Summer League on Tuesday.
Miami defeated the Lakers, 80-76, at Chase Center in San Francisco, California.
Dalton Knecht started at forward and played 31 minutes for the Lakers. He totaled 20 points, nine rebounds and one assist against the Heat.
Knecht converted 7-of-18 field goal attempts, 2-of-8 three-point attempts and 4-of-5 free throw attempts.
He was selected by Los Angeles in the first round of the 2024 NBA draft (No. 17 overall).
Golden State also defeated Sacramento, 91-90.
Santiago Vescovi did not play for the Warriors due to a coach’s decision. He went undrafted and sighed with Golden State.
