LSU baseball to participate in Frisco Classic in 2025

The Tigers will be joined by Nebraska, Kansas State and Sam Houston State in Frisco.

The LSU baseball team is heading to Frisco, Texas, next spring to participate in the Frisco Classic, the team announced on Wednesday. Nebraska, Kansas State and Sam Houston State will join the Tigers in the field.

The Frisco Classic will be held at Riders Field from Feb. 28 to March 25. The tournament will feature two games each day using a round robin format.

“It is incredible that we are hosting year nine of the Frisco Classic and doing so again with a great lineup of teams,” Peak Events Vice President Nathan Wooldridge said in a release. “Frisco has become the place to be on Week 3 of the college baseball season and in collaboration with the Frisco RoughRiders we look forward to making this year’s event something special. With LSU, Nebraska, Kansas State, and Sam Houston coming to town, we’ll continue to build on being the ‘Best Outside Of Omaha!’”

Specific matchups are yet to be announced. Each game will be streamed exclusively on D1Baseball.com.
