The Clemson football program will participate in two of the 2024 season’s Top 20 college football games.
Recently, On3 released their rankings for the top 10 college football games in 2024, with Clemson vs. Florida State ranking No. 6 for the season. It is the only game the Tigers have ranked in the Top 10, though any in the Top 10 is a good sign.
The ACC’s one pick of the 10 from Athlon is just as great with two of their best, Clemson and Florida State, meeting in Tallahassee. Both are back contending for titles with them among the best in a more open conference out on the east coast.
This one also has an overall storyline involving DJ Uiagalelei. Uiagalelei, the former quarterback for the Tigers, will face his former coach and program as the starter for the Seminoles after transferring again this offseason to FSU.
A battle of the two best in the ACC is definitely worthy of a Top 10 ranking, especially considering everything surrounding DJ Uiagalelei as the Seminoles new starting quarterback. The Tigers look for revenge after losing a game, if you watched, you know Clemson had no business losing. For Florida State, it is to further prove that they are the new top dog in the conference.
Below the Top 10, they revealed their No. 11-20 games, with Clemson vs. Georgia ranking just outside, looking in at No. 11. That’s the game we’ve primarily seen ranked as a Top 10 game, but 11 isn’t anything to scoff at.
