4-star Alabama RB commit still considering Georgia

Elite running back recruit Anthony Rogers is still considering Georgia football despite his verbal commitment to Alabama

Four-star running back recruit Anthony Rogers is planning to visit the Georgia Bulldogs again. Rogers, who has been committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide since June 2023, visited Georgia this spring.

“I am still committed to Alabama,” said Rogers in a recent interview with Rivals. “I am just looking at other schools to make sure I am the right fit for my future.”

Rogers plays high school football for Carver High School in Montgomery, Alabama. He previously played for IMG Academy and Pike Road High School (Alabama).

Rogers is the fourth-best running back in the class of 2025, per 247Sports. The 5-foot-8, 190-pound running back is the No. 118 recruit in the country and the No. 11 player in Alabama. Rogers runs track and plays basketball.

The Carver star running back has elite speed that should serve him well at the next level. Rogers is a shifty runner who is very elusive.

Georgia football has 17 commitments in the class of 2025, including one from three-star Cedar Grove running back Bo Walker. Georgia typically signs two running backs per cycle, so the Bulldogs are likely looking to add another one to their haul in the 2025 cycle.
