On Friday, EA Sports College Football 25 released overall team power rankings for the upcoming game. Tennessee did not make the list.
The Vols finished 9-4 last season with a Citrus Bowl victory over Iowa, which ranks No. 25 on the list.
On3 ranked the Vols as the No. 13 team nationally in recruiting and No. 8 in the SEC.
ESPN ranked Tennessee at No. 9 in its 2024 College Football Power Index (FPI). ESPN’s Bill Connelly also ranks Tennessee at No. 16 in his Post-Spring SP+ Rankings, which are based off returning production, recent recruiting and recent history.
