Ahead of their move to the SEC, the Texas Longhorns men’s basketball team continues to make moves. On Thursday, the team learned that former Kansas State Wildcats forward Arthur Kaluma would transfer to Austin for the 2024-25 season.
Last season, Kaluma averaged 14.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game in his lone season with Kansas State. He played for Creighton for two seasons prior to his transfer to Manhattan. Kaluma has a career average of 12.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game.
Kaluma joins a team that already added Julina Larry, Tramon Mark, Jayson Kent, and Jordan Pope.
The roster for head coach Rodney Terry looks like they might be ready to make some noise in the new-look SEC. The Longhorns have added players from Villanova, Indiana State, Arkansas, Oregon State, and now Kansas State.
The current transfer class ranks No. 19 per 247Sports team composite basketball rankings.
