The mound foes in this one could well be the starters in the All-Star Game, but a slight nod goes to Glasnow, who has held current Yankee batters to an aggregate .563 OPS per ESPN. The Dodgers hurler has been exceptional away from Chavez Ravine, clocking a 1.66 ERA, 0.74 WHIP.
More so than Glasnow, Gil has had his tremendous numbers propped up by a low 6% rate of fly balls leaving parks as home runs, and he’s worked through the lighter traffic on the bases by way of a .178 batting average on balls in play. That does not mean Gil isn’t a marvelous talent, just that when overrating game results by percentage points, his impact looms large.
The Dodgers are a lean but not a great return with this tag. The RL pricing looks more favorable. PASS.
Run line/Against the spread
