The Boston Celtics defeated the Indiana Pacers 126-110, taking a 2-0 series lead in the 2024 East finals. The next two games will be played in Indiana over the weekend, with the Celtics two wins away from a trip to the NBA Finals.
Jaylen Brown was the key for Boston tonight. He finished the game with 40 points on an efficient 14-for-27 shooting performance. Even during the stretches where the Celtics defense looked a little flat, Brown was able to manufacture offense. On the Indiana side of the equation, Pascal Siakam was also excellent. He had 28 points of his own. Indiana didn’t have enough firepower to keep pace otherwise, however, especially as All-NBA guard Tyrese Haliburton left the game early with a leg injury. The Pacers kept things moderately close thanks to a couple of second half 3-pointers, but it was an easy victory for the Celtics Thursday night.
Let’s take a look at some of the best moments captured in images in the Celtics’ Game 2 of their East finals series vs. the Pacers.
