[autotag]JR Motorsports[/autotag] has utilized its fifth NASCAR Xfinity Series car more often in 2024, and it’s paying off. In last weekend’s Xfinity Series race at Dover Motor Speedway, Carson Kvapil almost won, making his second career start for a second-place finish behind Ryan Truex. Now, the NASCAR organization appears on the verge of announcing another new driver.
On Wednesday, May 1, JR Motorsports posted on X that “nine drivers have made at least one start” in both the CARS Tour and NASCAR Xfinity Series for the race team. Then, JR Motorsports teased that it would add a 10th driver to that list on Thursday, May 2. This is an exciting development after Kvapil and Bubba Pollard joined the race team in 2024.

A few names could make sense, such as Connor Mosack, Mason Diaz, and Corey Day. It doesn’t have to be on a short track, as Mosack has competed on bigger tracks in the Xfinity Series. Yet, the list keeps going, and based on the announcements from JR Motorsports in 2024, this should be an exciting moment.
