The 2024 NFL Draft begins on Thursday night in Detroit with the first round. Among the top players in the draft that should hear their name early on is North Carolina’s Drake Maye.
The quarterback spent three seasons at North Carolina, starting the final two and ascending as one of the top draft prospects. While we don’t know exactly where Maye will go, it’s feeling more and more like he will be the third quarterback behind Caleb Williams and Jayden Daniels.
Maye has the chance to change a franchise, whether that be No. 3 to New England or if a team comes up in a trade to take him. Either way, UNC football fans will be rooting for Maye to succeed.
