The day of the draft leaves plenty of people wondering where the top prospects will go. UCLA Bruins star Laiatu Latu is slated to hear his name called during the first round on Thursday night.
His projections have varied a lot over the recent weeks.
Michael Middlehurst-Schwartz of USA Today had a final mock draft released. And, Laiatu Latu was mocked to the Los Angeles Rams as a potential replacement for Aaron Donald/ Here’s what he wrote about the selection:
Despite being arguably this class’ most polished defensive prospect, Latu could have a wide range of potential first-round outcomes given a medical history that includes forced retirement at Washington due to neck issues. If the Rams are comfortable with his outlook, the edge rusher stands out as the kind of ready-made contributor this front seven requires after Aaron Donald’s retirement.
Latu to the Rams is nothing new from a mock draft perspective, and staying in LA would sure be a fun treat for UCLA fans.
