A Nebraska guard has entered the transfer portal. Ramel Lloyd Jr. officially entered the portal on Monday morning.
The former three-star recruit out of California did not appear in a game this season for the Cornhusker. Lloyd initially chose Nebraska over Arizona State, Arkansas, Georgetown, and Oregon. He was ranked as the No. 143 overall prospect by Rivals in the class of 2023.
After he officially transfers, Lloyd will have three seasons of eligibility remaining. He joins the list of departing Huskers, as seniors Josiah Allick, Jarron Coleman, and Keisei Tominaga have no remaining eligibility.
