Top 20 2024 recruit Karter Knox commits to Kentucky

The Kentucky Wildcats and John Calipari have put together a very good 2024 recruiting class. Going into Saturday, they had the number two class in the nation. It got just a little bit better on Saturday with the addition of Karter Knox.

Knox has been on Kentucky’s radar for some time, but was mulling over several options. In the end, he chose the Wildcats, though.

The name may be familiar to Kentucky fans. His older brother, Kevin Knox, was a star for the Wildcats in the 2017-18 season. He averaged 15 points and 5 rebounds per game en route to being named SEC Freshman of the Year and first team All-SEC.

Karter is a four star forward who is ranked inside the top 20 by most services. He’s a good shooter who can rebound as well.

Knox may not push Kentucky past Duke for the number one recruiting class, but he certainly strengthens it. He joins Jayden Quaintance as top 20 players to join the Wildcats for 2024.
