Nate Wiggins, the ex-Clemson standout cornerback, set Lucas Oil Stadium ablaze at the 2024 NFL Combine with an electrifying 40-yard dash performance on Friday.
The anticipation surrounding Wiggins’ 40 was met with sheer excitement as he clocked in an official time of 4.28, a mind-blowing display of speed from one of the standout prospects in the upcoming 2024 NFL draft. As per NFL.com’s comprehensive combine coverage, Wiggins currently claims the title for the fastest recorded 40-yard dash time at the 2024 combine, solidifying his status as a top-tier talent to watch.
However, Wiggins was injured on the run, ending his combine. NFL Network’s Stacey Dales reported that it is a hip flexor for Wiggins. Expectations are that he will be good to go for Clemson’s pro day, but there is no confirmation yet.
Wiggins just told me after seeing the medical staff, it’s a hip flexor. Says it’s more of a strain. Told me he should be okay by his Pro Day at Clemson. https://t.co/GMjgFINDaq
