The LSU women’s basketball team will continue searching for its first SEC regular season title under coach [autotag]Kim Mulkey[/autotag], but the Tigers will enter the SEC Tournament in Greenville, South Carolina, next week with a friendly setup.
With a dominating 80-54 win over Georgia on Thursday night, LSU officially clinched the No. 2 seed in the SEC Tournament behind top-seeded, undefeated South Carolina. The Gamecocks and Tigers faced in Baton Rouge earlier this year with LSU coming up just short.
It will hope for another shot at the nation’s top team in the SEC Championship, which seems like a very possible matchup as things currently stand.
