There has been speculation in regards to the New England Patriots fielding offers for the third overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft. NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah revealed the potential price for the New York Giants, if they wanted to swap their No. 6 overall pick in the first round with the Patriots.
The Patriots are in prime position to select a top-tier quarterback. Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels have been two names heavily connected to that selection, which would be a solid starting point for an organization needing a quarterback.
Jeremiah noted that the third overall selection would cost New York three second-round picks, along with swapping their first-round pick, if they wanted to move up the draft board to No. 3 overall.
Daniel Jeremiah was just asked about the Patriots (No. 3) and Giants (No 6) possibly swapping first-round picks so New York could grab a QB.
He talked to people around the league and believes it would cost NYG three second-round picks.

The No. 3 draft pick has been talked about quite a bit over the past couple of weeks. ESPN’s Dan Graziano recently pointed out the Minnesota Vikings and Atlanta Falcons being two teams to keep an eye on in a potential draft day trade.
One thing is certain: All eyes will be on the Patriots come April to see if they keep the pick or trade it away.
