Should the #Bills try to trade for #49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk?

The case has been made for the Buffalo Bills to attempt a trade for wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk.

In need of another playmaker on offense, the San Francisco 49ers wideout could fit the bill.

Our friends at the NFL Wire made the case for five different trades that should go down in the league this offseason. Among them was the idea of Buffalo landing Aiyuk.

Aiyuk, 25, is entering the prime of his career and is a versatile weapon. This past season, Aiyuk put up 75 catches for a career-high 1,342 yards with seven touchdowns.

In a scenario where Aiyuk ended up on the Bills, that likely means receiver Gabe Davis leaves during free agency. Aiyuk would certainly be a huge upgrade on Davis and the idea of him paired with current Bills receiver and quarterback, Stefon Diggs and Josh Allen respectively, is an exciting one.

The biggest issue here would be compensation. The thought of acquiring Aiyuk does come with a high price tag, but the argument is a compelling one.

Here’s how NFL Wire breaks down the Aiyuk to Buffalo idea, along with four other trade suggestions for teams in the league:
