How does Boston Celtics reserve forward Oshae Brissett approach trying to fight for minutes on a loaded team with designs on title contention? “By any means necessary — you go out there and try to win the game because that’s what the Celtics are all about,” said the man himself for a recent clip put together by the team.
Brissett may not get regular floor time with the Celtics, but that doesn’t mean he is as up and down as his minutes may be — in fact, quite the opposite. The Canadian swingman puts all his energy and focus on the floor when his number is called, making him at the top of head coach Joe Mazzulla’s list of players to go to when the contest needs an injection of controlled chaos.
In that Celtics’produced clip, Brissett shares that “having that confidence in myself lets me know that, ‘Okay, my opportunity’s going to come.'”
