The G League’s OKC Blue picked up a lopsided 128-105 win over the Mexico City Capitanes on Sunday. The home win improves the Blue to 4-9.
The Blue built a 26-22 lead following the first quarter. A 30-point second frame expanded that margin to 10, 56-46, at halftime. The final result became clear with a 39-point third quarter by the Blue. This helped OKC enter the final frame leading 95-73.
The Blue shot 56% from the field and went 14-of-28 (50%) from 3. They dished 31 assists on 50 baskets. Seven players scored double-digit points.
Meanwhile, the Capitanes shot 44% from the field and went 11-of-29 (37.9%) from 3. They had four players score double-digit points.
