WATCH: Bucs S Antoine Winfield Jr. saves a touchdown against the Panthers

Winfield Jr. made a great play to save a touchdown amid the mind-numbing first half of Tampa Bay’s game against the Panthers in Week 18.

[autotag]Antoine Winfield Jr[/autotag]. may not be going to the Pro Bowl in 2024, but he’s still making plays regardless.

In a first half that had almost no action whatsoever, the Carolina Panthers looked to go up over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 18 when wideout D.J. Chark took advantage of a busted coverage. He lept over the pylon for a touchdown, but Winfield Jr. managed to punch the ball out at just the right time and ensure that the play ended up as a touchback instead of a touchdown. This is the second time Winfield Jr. has done that this season, doing it to quarterback Desmond Ridder in Tampa Bay when the team played the Atlanta Falcons earlier in the year.
