The Buffalo Bills are anticipating quarterback Josh Allen to be in the fold this upcoming week at practice after taking a late knock in their win over the Patriots.
Right near the end of the 27-21 final, Allen was sandwiched by two Patriots defenders and jogged off the field. He was immediately seen with trainers and was having his shoulder worked on.
After the contest, Allen explained it after the game and downplayed the situation.
“Little stinger. Never felt one of those before. Felt funky. I’m all right,” Allen said via video conference.
One day removed from the contest, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott discussed Allen’s injury again. That likely came after the medical staff had an opportunity to look at for a second time as well.
McDermott described it as “neck soreness.” Allen is likely to practice throughout this upcoming week, too.
Bills Wire will provide all updates throughout the upcoming week ahead of the team’s matchup against the Miami Dolphins (11-5).
